Running Track Description

The track starts and finishes at the Kopli Liinid promenade. The first section heads toward the Maritime Academy and Süsta park, then winds through Professorite küla (Professors’ Village) and Kase park. A great way to warm up while soaking in the local atmosphere.

After the urban loop, the route returns to the promenade and follows the coastline east. A bagpipe band will be waiting at the water station to cheer you on!

From there the track heads north into the Paljassaare Nature Reserve, a protected coastal wetland renowned for birdwatching. The route loops around the Paljassaare peninsula before returning south along the western shoreline back to the finish.

Walking Track Description

The walking track is slightly shorter than the running track, but the start and finish are the same. The route begins at the Kopli Liinid promenade.

The walking track leads directly toward Paljassaare, maintaining beautiful views of the coastline. The track offers excellent opportunities for bird watching and enjoying nature.

The tour is guided by Hannele — founder and guide of Koplikandi Matkad. Over five years she has led tours for more than 4,000 people, and is also the curator of the exhibition “Kopli Magical Realism”. As a local resident, she knows the entire peninsula intimately — its history as well as its present-day life.
